Flume’s reaction to winning his first GRAMMY is inspirational and absolutely perfect
In the five years since the release of his debut album, Flume has had nothing short of a charmed career. With each new release, the Australian producer seems to find another level of success, culminating in his first Grammy win for Best Dance/Electronica Album for his second LP Skin. With the music world thoroughly conquered, Australian radio station Triple J called the phenomenon to get his reaction immediately after winning the Grammy.
The call comes in at a hair over four and one-half minutes, with the producer giving kudos to his father, who attended the show to support his son, as well as his label mates on Future Classic. Flume also discusses his post-show party plans, as well as the new company he now keeps as a Grammy winner. He also goes on to say that the Skin Companion II EP will be the last release associated with his sophomore album.
