Underworld announce five-stop mini tour across North America
UK legends Underworld have announced a brief North American tour spanning five cities. The outfit will be hitting prime cities across the United States—including stops at Detroit’s Movement Festival, New York, and LA—and conclude in Toronto on May 27. This tour marks their first in the region since 2015.
Audiences can expect two-hour live sets spanning the band’s back catalog, along with some of their newer music mixed in. Underworld notably launched their DRIFT album series in 2019 , with DRIFT 1 being released in segments throughout the year. Series 1 saw the band exploring new sonic realms, even diving into heavier techno via their Ø [Phase] collaboration.
Their most iconic single, “Born Slippy,” celebrates its 25th birthday in 2020.
