Tropix and Rayasa add deep euphoria on ‘Love The Pain Away’ remix
In 2020’s digital landscape, all DJs/producers have had to adapt and navigate new terrain, now that touring and live shows are temporarily obsolete. Among those doing it right is none other than Tropix, who knew that releasing cover singles “Don’t Start Now” and “Fourfiveseconds” were necessary crowd pleasers. He also recently coordinated the Tropix Like It’s Hot virtual festival, benefiting The Makin’ Lemonade Fund, Feeding America, CDC Foundation, and Direct Relief. Tropix and company recruited electronic favorites like Autograf, Firebeatz, Young Bombs, and more, to round out the talent-rife roster.
Now, he’s teamed up with Rayasa to remix Alex Donn and Lundh’s “Love the Pain Away” on beloved chill house label, Soave. Rayasa, who garnered increased traction due to various “Mashup Packs” and edits, adds some house flare to Tropix’s upbeat instrumentals. The rework is a melodic, synth-led production that enhances the original while serving as an instant mood-booster.
