Baauer releases ‘PLANETS MAD’ deluxe pressing, ‘GLOBES CRAZY’
In June, Baauer gave words to the absolute insanity of 2020 with the release of his sophomore LP PLANETS MAD. Now, approximately half a year later, Baauer bestows the deluxe edition of the LP, PLANETS MAD, (GLOBES CRAZY), at a time when the sentiment of the aptly titled LP has only grown increasingly veracious.
The release boasts features from some of electronic music’s most underrated producers such as Holly, Hex Cougar, A.G. Cook, Cozway, and more, in addition to tacking on previously unreleased songs. Adding a bit of levity, the album ushers in never-before-heard tracks like “JHEEZ,” “OHMYJEFF,” and “I’M PEAKING HARD,” to name just a few.
Lending remixes to a select few tunes from PLANETS MAD, PLANETS MAD, (GLOBES CRAZY) curates as close to a new world as a producer can get on a deluxe re-issue. While still masterfully chaotic, GLOBE’S CRAZY offers a more nuanced appeal than its predecessor.
