Seven Lions recruits Ophelia Records’ A-team for ten ‘Beyond The Veil’ remixes
One of Dancing Astronaut‘s Top Albums of 2022 is being brought back once more. Back in April, Seven Lions extended the Beyond The Veil tracklist with a pair of sought-after IDs, “Alive” with Opposite the Other and “Brightest Light” with Dotter. A month and a half later, the Ophelia Records boss is refreshing his first-ever LP for second time in tandem with the beginning of his coinciding album run, assembling an all-star roster from 10 of the label’s finest with its remix package.
A single look at the Beyond The Veil remix lineup makes it clear that Seven Lions pulled out all the stops to accurately ensure that the right names were properly reconfiguring some of his finest work over the past decade. And those 10 names are MitiS, Au5, Trivecta, Gem & Tauri—whose previously delivered take is a co-remix with the label head—former Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch STAR SEED, 3LAU, Kompany, REMNANT.exe, Oddly Godly, and last but not least, another Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch alumni Far Out. Between melodic bass, psytrance, dubstep to progressive trance, the Beyond The Veil remixes stretch across the electronic genre spectrum, with each of its 10 remixers offering their own stylistic perspectives as they breathe new life into an album that stood above countless others in 2022. With Seven Lions’ Beyond The Veil tour now underway, the opportunity to hear not only the album in its original state but also in its reworked form will present itself in the coming months.
