Insomniac partners with Cream to bring UK the first ever Electric Daisy Carnival London
For the first time in its history, Insomniac will be partnering with England's pre-eminent electronic event producers, Cream, to bring the first-ever UK edition of Electric Daisy Carnival to life at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in England. Scheduled to be held for one day on July 20th 2013, the lineup already boasts Tiƫsto, Avicii, Steve Angello, Alesso, Hardwell, Porter Robinson, Madeon and more.
Dancing Astronaut presents Axis, Episode 049: Mixed by EEKO, Guest Mix by Duher
Axis returns in its 49th installment with EEKO at the helm, delivering 30 minutes of an ADHD genre hop through progressive, electro, tech, pop and more. From Alesso's latest "If I Lose Myself" to The Chemical Brother's remix of "XTC," EEKO shifts the energy at a breakneck pace throwing 18 songs into 30 minutes, throttling into every turn and slide of a fader. Duher kicks in for the second half of the mix, showcasing six of his original productions including "Rokit" and "Girls" and his remix of Afrojack's "Radioman." Much like Madeon, Winnel curates an expansive library of sound clips, building a narrative with little more than an APC-40 and his imaginative ear. Clocking in at 18 minutes, this exclusive minimix is an ADHD-sufferers soundtrack, no track gets more than a few seconds of play time before Winnel blends and chops it to smithereens creating a cocktail of dubstep blasts, progressive builds and electro grit.
