Beyond Wonderland announces new venue, tickets on sale today at 12pm PST
Insomniac returns once again with the Alice in Wonderland-themed Beyond Wonderland event on March 16. In the event's fourth year, however, Pasquale and crew have announced a change in venue -- moving from San Bernardino's NOS Events Center to the San Manuel Amphitheater and Grounds. The new venue, still in San Bernardino county (directly east of Los Angeles county), will hopefully prove to be a seamless transition for Insomniac and its fans. Tickets for the event are set to go on sale today at 12pm PST, 3pm EST. No word on a lineup yet, but you can be sure to check back with Dancing Astronaut as those announcements do trickle in.

Pasquale Rotella hints at Audiotistic’s return in 2013
California festival goers were disappointed when last year's Audiotistic festival didn't come to fruition due to logistical issues. The festival, which features artists across a wide variety of genres -- not just EDM -- was reknowned for featuring a blend of hip-hop, turntablism and electronic music to satisfy a wide variety of tastes and styles.
Electric Forest announces 2013 dates, may also double capacity
Every year, Electric Forest's art installations, kaleidoscopic lights, and gallivanting vagrants fill the deep wilderness in celebration of dance music. This summer, the natural habitat will suffer (or savor) pervading basslines and reverberant soundscapes June 27 through the 30. It is also apparent that the festival plans to expand. With a capacity of 25,000 last year, Electronic Midwest reports festival producers have requested to nearly double the capacity to 40,000.
SBE Nightlife acquires new property Vanguard in Los Angeles, partners with Insomniac events for New Year’s Eve
SBE Nightlife, a major group with well-known properties like Greystone Manor and Hyde Lounge, has acquired a new property Vanguard. With over 20,000 square feet of interactive indoor and outdoor spaces, Vanguard's centerpiece is the largest LED screen in Hollywood. More importantly, Vanguard's main priority is to halt the bleeding of EDM talent from Los Angeles to Vegas. In partnership with Insomniac, it aims to be the authoritative showcase of globally relevant DJs and artists on a consistent weekly basis. A combination of both exceptional Vegas styled VIP service and mind-blowing production, Vanguard is rumored to be redesigning experiences for the upcoming 2013 winter and spring season, with a confirmed New Years show with Thomas Gold to start things off.

As of writing, the promotional company behind FSDMF, Aura Presents, has reportedly filed for bankruptcy - leaving the festival's future extremely uncertain and opening the door for Insomniac and EDC Chicago to bring its world-renowned brand to the Windy City.
