Dr. Dre Ft. Snoop Dogg – The Next Episode (Dani Deahl x Jason Edward Remix)
Dani Deahl and Jason Edward put their heads together for this absolutely massive remix of Snoop and Dre's "The Next Episode." Putting a 2015 twist on the 1999 hit from Dre's iconic The Chronic 2001 album, the duo flex their festival trap tendencies here, appropriately matching the rap originals bars with frantic percussion and heart-skipping synthwork. A timely release that features a sample or two from Half Baked, Dani Deahl and Jason Edward's freebie edit pays homage to the holiday and Dre and Snoop's stick icky original.
Snoop Dogg reveals first single ‘So Many Pros’ off Pharrell-produced disco album
Snoop Dogg is no stranger to electronic dance music, last year he started LA Party Machine and he frequently performs as DJ Snoopadelic - an alter ego who loves "Euro Tekno." His latest foray into creating dancefloor fodder comes in the form of "So Many Pros" off his forthcoming BUSH album. Produced by Pharrell and heavily disco-influenced, the track takes notes from the producer's time spent with Daft Punk and Nile Rodgers on Random Access Memories. A bit more funk than traditional dance, Snoop's latest beams with familiar disco guitar licks and his own laidback and sex-laced flow.
